After the service, parents or guardians of the
pre-k/kindergarten children should pick up their child(ren) in the Busy Bee’s
classroom (located in the child care hallway, last room on the left, nearest
the kitchen). Please bring your child(ren) down to the Undercroft (large open
space on the lowest level of the building).
1st – 6th graders
will gather for the Large Group activity at the end of class time in the
Undercroft.
After the 9:30 a.m. service, all Sunday school
children, parents, and families gather in the Undercroft. We will conclude
Sunday school with our prayer song, Lord, Listen to your Children
Praying, an offering, and announcements.
Please make sure your child’s teacher is aware
that you have picked up your child(ren).
To help you identify your child’s teacher,
photos of the teachers are posted on the Children’s Ministry bulletin board on
the main level, near the Sanctuary. Or, click here to see the teachers' bios online.
If you have questions or
concerns, contact Pastor Jon Pederson or Brenda Gilsrud, Children’s Ministry
lay leader, via the church office (aslc@allsaintsmtka.org or
952.934.3550).
To register your child/children:
- Download and complete the Sunday School registration form and return it to the church office.
- Pick up and complete a Sunday School registration form at the Welcome Center or from the Children’s Ministry bulletin board near the Sunday School Resource Room (by the water fountain, main floor), and return it to the church office.
Rotation Sunday School
After leaving worship, children rotate through classes each week to one station where they learn about the Bible story in an active, creative way. Holy Wood (drama), the Garden of Eatin’ (cooking) and the Creation station (art) are a few of the stations. A helpful brochure is available at the Welcome Center, or from the Children’s Ministry bulletin board near the Sunday School Resource Room, which explains the Rotation Model and invites you to consider how you can be a part of this incredibly exciting ministry to our children.
